Anne and Michael were excellent hosts. The apartment was within walking distance to all amenities. Very good value for money. We will be staying again. L'Ermitage The apartment has 1 bedroom, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, an equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and a microwave, a washing machine, and 1 bathroom with a shower. Carcassonne is 26 km from the apartment, while Castelnaudary is 41 km from the property. The nearest airport is Carcassonne Airport, 20 km from L'Ermitage. The apartment is very nice, spacious, well equipped, and quiet given its on a reasonably busy road. Good free parking available opposite the property. Gite Quatre Saisons 2 Gite & Villa Quatre Saisons is situated in Limoux. Free WiFi is available. The villa consists of 2 separate bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a seating area. The villa also includes a well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, an oven and a microwave, as well as a a hairdryer. Communication before arrival with the owner was excellent, they replied to the emails instantly.

We stayed at Thakadu for 2 nights in August 2017. Highlights were 1) the tented accommodation – luxury, yet simple set up. Clean, good showers and private with large balcony 2) safari through Madikwe – plenty of animals (particularly rhino! ) 3) great food, and particularly enjoyed the boma. Also really appreciate the special birthday cake and traditional dance for my wife's birthday. We recommend Thakadu as a great Madikwe option for safari, but did not give it 5 star due to 1) has a larger feel to it than other camps in Madikwe – there are 12 tents (compared to the majority of lodges in the park with just 6 rooms). Just means there are more people around, in the cars, at dinner, etc. We also found significantly more children here than other places we stayed at …
