Well maintained and secure pool area with neat and tidy gardens and outdoor areas. The house is in a quiet residential street with access to the coastal path. Lots of inquisitive kookaburras come on to the verandah for a quick look most evenings. Very family friendly with nearby playground and little beaches. The house was spacious and tidy. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and crockery if you are cooking. A great house for a family holiday although it is in a hilly area with steps to access coastal path and house. If any of your party struggle with mobility issues, they may find going on foot a bit hard going. May give you a good workout if you have children in prams/strollers. Penthouse Palace - Luxurious Harbourview Location The air-conditioned holiday home consists of 4 bedrooms, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and a coffee machine, and 3 bathrooms with a shower and a bath. For added convenience, the property can provide towels and bed linen for an extra charge. We had a very lovely stay at the Bay Holidays - which felt more like a luxury resort house than an airbnb. The hosts were very responsive and attentive to our needs and worked tirelessly to resolve the one minor issue we had.
Nelson Central City 2 Nile Court on Nile Street Green and leafy location in the city near cultural centre, botanic gardens, cafes and shops. Close to the Centre of New Zealand and Maitai river walks. Guests comment that the house appears modest on arrival but opens up like the Tardis with spacious rooms and a lovely garden. Stylish and comfortable, two double bedrooms with a King bed in the Yellow Room and a pair of King Singles in The Beach Room. All beds have cosy down underlays, Fairydown Espresso blankets, duvets and are luxuriously comfortable. Described by one guest as 'like sleeping on a cloud'. Beds are made up on arrival, all linen is provided. Good heating options with log fire and heat pump in the living room, night store heater in hallway and oil heaters provided in both bedrooms. Ceiling heater in the bathroom which is newly renovated with new shower, vanity and toilet suite, it also has a bathtub. Generous open plan living/dining area with 'snug' for quiet activities and a large lounge area with full SKY digitital, over 50 available channels on a 42 inch set with MYSKY.
