The events are more catered for international students, they don't take us on nights out but they did repair the pool table, and they have frequent pizza nights. We don't have WiFi but we do have an Ethernet port and you have to hotspot your laptop. It's not great for 136 a week but that's life, I suppose. the rooms are tiny and old, so is the ensuite. halls are hideously overpriced seeing as there is no cleaner and there's mice, silverfish and begbugs in almost all blocks. only good thing is the location but you can't even have pres here without noise complaints also there's no wifi?!?!! it's literally 2018 and you're forced to plug your laptop in to get internet, it's actually laughable there's a small common room that no one uses most students are international and don't leave their rooms This wasn't the halls that I applied for but I ended up with it anyway and after reading loads of reviews I got really upset bc they said it would be awful but honestly it wasn't that bad. Fair enough, it didn't have too much of a community vibe and the kitchen didn't have a table but if you made friends on your course and ate in your room it was fine.
