So I have a conditional offer and applied for the Accommodation Award and the Wardlaw scheme scholarships that I was eligible for. While there aren't that many scholarships available, they say that applicants with less household income are always preferred. I've heard that St Andrews is mostly a rich people school, and our annual household income is around a single person's minimum wage in Scotland, so maybe there won't be as much competition between undergrads. Has anybody here successfully applied for a scholarship issued by St Andrews/do you know somebody who has? If yes, was it because of your annual household income, or was it just low enough to make you eligible but you feel like you got it due to acing your PS? I don't think I'd be able to live in St Andrews without getting one, so I'm assessing my chances here, as well as thinking of future plans. I get the results at April 30 and have to make the decision on UCAS at May 6.

You can also login using the MySaint Student Portal, if you already have an IT account. Once in MySaint you will see the Accommodation Online portlet (shown on the right). Please click the Login to Accommodation Online to access the Accommodation Online system. We need you to upload a photo! Before you can start an application we need to get an up to date photo of you so we can prepare your Student ID card, this will allow you access to your halls of residence. If you don't upload an image in advance of your arrival there will be a delay in getting your new card and you will not be able to access your accommodation. The photo must be a passport style photo, for guidance please see the passport photo requirements. Once you are logged into the Accommodation Online system and uploaded a photo you will be able to start your application or review an existing application.

You will need your surname, student ID and date of birth to register a new account. Your date of birth must be entered in the DD/MM/YYYY format. Uploading a photo In order to create a student matriculation card, you must upload an up-to-date photo to Accommodation Online. Your student card will allow you access to your halls of residence. The photo must be a passport-style photo; for guidance, please see passport photo requirements. If you don't upload an image, you will not be able to submit an accommodation application.

Once you are logged into the Accommodation Online system you will be able to review Your Offer where you can accept the offer including the Terms of Occupancy. You have 10 days to accept or decline the offer, after which the offer will be withdrawn and the room offered to another student. If you do not want the offer please ensure that you Decline it online rather than waiting for it to expire. This is so that we can offer the room to other students If you have accepted the offer of accommodation you must complete the Pre-Arrival process before your arrival day. The pre-arrival process includes an e-induction, a quick quiz, selecting an arrival slot time and finally allows you to print a Key Receipt which you must bring on arrival day. The Accommodation Online portlet should be on Home page of MySaint, it may be on at the bottom of the page. If it is not shown anywhere you can Add Content and select Applications>Accommodation Online.
Once you are logged into the Accommodation Online system and have uploaded a photo, you will be able to start your application or review an existing application. If you have relevant information, which has not been covered within the application form, which will impact on your accommodation needs please email Accepting your offer You will receive your offer of accommodation to your University email account. If you have not already done so, you will need to activate your computer account. Once you receive an offer of accommodation, you have ten days to accept or decline the offer. After this period has passed, the offer will be withdrawn and the room offered to another student. You will not receive another offer of accommodation if you decline your offer. If you do not want to accept the offer, please ensure that you choose to decline it online as soon as possible rather than waiting for it to expire. This is so that the room can be offered to other students. Complete the pre-arrival process Once you have accepted the offer of accommodation, you must complete the pre-arrival process before you arrive at St Andrews.
