It is well situated to visit all of the sights such as the Cango Caves and the ostrich farms. The main Victorian homestead (circa 1852) is luxuriously furnished in an understated style, with antiques and fine artworks by well-known South African artists. The house is surrounded by an immaculate rose garden which gives Rosenhof its name (meaning Rose House in Afrikaans). In the garden there's a swimming pool, gazebo and plenty of roses, herbs and fine trees, providing a delicious cool retreat to return to after touring the Little Karoo. Twelve spacious courtyard bedrooms, each decorated in Cape-Victorian style, are equipped with telephone, TV, air-conditioning, tea/coffee facilities and a small terrace.
