What is sheltered housing? Sheltered housing is for residents aged 60 or over who want to live independently. Our properties are usually one-bedroom flats, grouped in small, low-rise blocks known as 'schemes'. They have their own front doors, kitchens, and bathroom but you also get access to a shared lounge. All sheltered housing schemes have a specialist housing officer who works Monday to Friday during office hours. Theres a gym and also cinema room and they do fitness classes (which are online atm because of covid). I stayed in a superior room with river view, the view was really relaxing for when i was studying + the prices are really great and i think they still have some rooms available.
