Hotels The city of Prato offers a large range of accommodation options. Many of these are within walking distance of the Monash University Prato Centre. Block bookings for the school/workshop have been made in the local hotels listed below. Individual bookings should be made directly with the hotels. Please reserve your room by the release date indicated, and ensure that you inform the Hotel that you must receive the special rate (as given below) negotiated by the Monash University Prato Centre. In addition to the Hotels listed below, a number of other long and short term accommodation options are available, including self-serviced apartments, 'residences' etc. Information on additional accommodation options in Prato may be found on the Centre website. Hotels, Self-serviced apartments and Residences The city of Prato offers a large range of accommodation options. Many of these are within walking distance of the Monash University Prato Centre. In addition to Hotels, a number of other long and short term accommodation options are available, including self-serviced apartments, 'residences' etc. Information on accommodation options in Prato may be found on the Centre website. Once delegates have successfully completed their registration, they will be sent a detailed list of accommodation options at which special rates have been negotiated. These special rates are reserved for visitors to the Monash Prato Centre. They are confidential and must not be shared or included in publications or online systems. All individual bookings must be booked directly with the accommodation. If you book using online systems, you will be charged a higher rate. Delegates should state that they are attending a conference at the Monash University Prato Centre when enquiring about rates and inform the Hotel that you must receive the special rate negotiated by the Monash University Prato Centre.
Named after our founding director, the library supports the research and teaching activities of the Prato Consortium for Medieval and Renaissance Studies.
